Infamous Gamble :
building owners should be jailed and their buildings repossessed by the govt. why is it, that if I get too many fines on my personal car I can face my car being towed and jailed but RICH landlords, responsible for dozens of tenants, can get away with years of fines with NO consequences??

I don't understand why these folks weren't relocated to suitable housing. So sad. And not everyone has one month rent and month security to just plop down for a new apartment. Not to mention the apartments now are not affordable for the average salaried New Yorker.
