@brandonorrweather: Incredible video from NOAA Hurricane Hunters as they punched through the eyewall of Hurricane Erin revealing the calm center and blue sky above. At one point the storm was a CAT 5 with 160mph sustained winds.

The NOAA plane and the air force HH plane once stopped in Rhode Island for a hurricane preparedness thing and I saw the Air Force one and my goodness I’m terrified of flying but I’d feel so safe on these planes
