@ssenyonyiderrick1: CTC Conservation Centre sits in Lukalu, Butambala District. It lies about 36 km southwest of Kampala along Masaka Road and is roughly a 1-hour drive. It also lies just 15 minutes outside of Mpigi Town. It began in 2015 as a privately run facility. It blends conservation with tourism, a concept called “conservation through commercialisation”. It hosts a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors see lions, African golden cats, lemurs, zebras, hyenas, impalas, crocodiles, bat-eared foxes, kobs, oribis, serval cats, caracals, tortoises, chameleons, snakes, bush babies and more. Visits are by appointment only.
