Omg my dad and uncle did this for a bit too! They're identical twins (dad is gay and uncle is straight) so they also had the added bonus of if it was a completely new person staying over they could easily play it off as "oh i went into the wrong room im still getting used to telling them apart" if they got caught 😭😭
