Superman 2025 clears anything Batman has came out with since Tim Burtons Batman in 1989. Nolan Batman movies are terrible Batman movies.

Alex is more of a COMIC book fan than a superhero fan, so him saying The Dark Knight is better is a genuinely crazy take. I'm a firm believer that Batman Begins is the best one out of the trilogy (as the world looks and feels more like gotham, alongside other elements) and after that Nolan just starts to do what the wants. Compare BB to TDK and you'll see what i mean. The reason why the take is so crazy is because of the effect that it had on superhero media. Superhero movies before this were arguably pretty whimsical and fun with comic accuracy, but because of how grounded that trilogy of movies are, they started a trend of making everything hyper realistic and gritty (just look at TASM). Its been incredibly hard to break out of that mould since then.
