This is what my hair looks like.. I’ve clarified shampooed 3x and used a conditioner and it’s still like this 😩 my hair is completely dry in the photo too 😭

I started using Dove Intensive Repair and Bond Strength lines a couple weeks ago and my hair is sooooo soft and less frizzy!! I’m ditching my hair salon products at 42! 😅

Abbey I know you don't have low porosity hair but with all of your trichology knowledge would you consider doing a short series on a good routine/products for low porosity hair?? You're the only hair influencer I trust and the standard method is not kind to my low porosity hair 😭🫶

I would bet money it's the pre-shampoo oil step. I tried it a couple of times and it wasn't for me. I had to scrub my ends with shampoo, otherwise my hair would be gross abd weighed down. I'm sure it works for some, but I skip it and the rest of the routine works just fine for me.

Please help! I use L’Oréal Detox, Purology hydrate shampoo and conditioner and Amika the Cure deep conditioner. Then spray with Purology color fanatic spray leave in and ogx coconut oil and my hair when dry feels dry and crunchy! HELP!

I have fine long hair and was doing everything, stripped it back to good old just conditioner then 1 leave in and much better, soft and airy now. just use a mask once a week now in place of conditioner 👍
