Te fact is no one knows. Not this guy not the other guy. What we do know is the narrative makes no sense. How do u say metal tools when it was said multiple times it was copper tools. A bunch of disingenuous arguments. Especially this videos condescending tone and know it all attitude.

Ancient people had loads of manpower and TIME. Years, decades of labor dedicated to these.

nup, no amount of smacking granite with copper etc could produce the perfection seen all over the world. No one knows how the thousands of perfect pots were made in Egypt for example, let alone everything else

I don’t think you quite get how hard these substances are. For what tools we supposedly had at that point in time these things would not have been possible to carve with them. Especially not to the basic perfection levels they are done at

also i always hear people saying oh they never could have made this stuff without powertools. its like no, you can. it just takes a really long time to do it. and thats what a lot of people struggle to wrap their head arround. a sculpture like that probably took the artist years to complete, but we look at scupltures now that are similar being cranked out in a few days.

labour was cheap back then... thats the bottom line. if it took a few guys 3 months to carve it was no big deal.. they dint have to pay a pension fund or health insurance.

Iron tools? Would have bent by the time they did it. And if it was so easy why can’t anyone do it now with iron tools

high pressure water can cut almost anything and is softer then harder materials like metal and granite

People that say these sort of things about ancient technology are real fools, Not only is your statement about hardness correct but the other thing they had in abundance compared to today is time, We want it done now fast today not tomorrow, But in our own recorded history we have cathedrals that took more than one human lifetime to build, So when you look at ancient carvings in hard Stone remember they took their time.

It’s genuinely getting to the point where these people seem to think certain rocks are invincible substances that would even withstand erosion

I literally watch a stone Smith in a query with nothing but a hammer and a wedge split a bolder just by studying the rock and hitting the right spots.
