If win and in goes away, that’ll solve a bunch of problems. Berry and Dillon for sure shouldn’t be in and neither should SVG, even with 4 wins although he has a better case than the other two. They’re all 22nd or below in points while Bowman is 9th and could be out with a new winner that isn’t Reddick.

Give winners 100 points and get rid of the auto qualify. Still will have people who scan win their way in, but not the Austin Dillon Harrison burtons. No ones complaining if preece wins his way in, or Busch. SVG would have 664 pts and be in, but 21 and 3 would be out.

I see it as Austin Dillon has a win and 24 losses. The other drivers have zero wins and 25 losses. Other sports rewards wins over points they scored while losing.

The system should have a prerequisite of you MUST be in the top 20 in points to even qualify for the playoffs.

Why are we making this point now? There’s 3 people outside T20 in points with wins. SVG being one with 4 wins and only 4 points above Dillon in 24th. Berry being the other in 22nd.
