@carterlifts08: Aside from warmups you really shouldn’t be building up to a heavier set, when your muscles aren’t going to be as fresh. Reverse pyramid training is a great way to structure your sets, start with your heaviest set in a lower rep range and in the following set/sets decrease the weight slightly to where you can crank out a few more reps. #gym #sets #gymmyths #GymTok #gympropaganda
try to do 1 set of warmups and then max on a benchpress it doesnt work and neither does it for any other exercise unless you previously did a exercise with the same muscle
