✨SAVE✨ these spots for later📌 Dartmoor National Park is one of the best places you can see when you visit Devon. In fact it was my favourite place on my recent UK road trip. There’s just so much beauty there and it’s also a bit of a hidden gem. We saw barely any people around and we visited in the middle of the day in September! If you’re ever in the south of England, add these things to your UK bucket list: 1️⃣ White Lady Falls: Located in Lydford Gorge, this is one of the most beautiful UK waterfalls. It’s also super easy to get to, down a straight hiking trail 🥰 2️⃣ Venford Reservoir: This large lake is great for seeing autumn leaves in the UK. There are also lots of hiking trails here, perfect for outdoor lovers. 🥾 3️⃣ Brent Tor: My favourite tor hike in Dartmoor was to this stunning church. Purched on a hill top, the church is really easy to get to and to get to the top only takes about 20 minutes. But the views are stunning! 🍂 4️⃣ Wistman’s Wood: This entirely protected woodland can be reached after about an 45-minute hike across the moorland. It’s an easy walk, but has some great views, and the woods give serious fairytale vibes! 🧚 5️⃣ Lustleigh: Often described as the prettiest village in Dartmoor, this is the perfect place to grab an afternoon tea in the summer months. They have the cutest tea shop. ☕️ 6️⃣ Foggingor Quarry: This abandoned quarry is now the perfect spot for a bit of wild swimming. The scenery resembles Iceland! 😄 There are so many hiking trails, beautiful scenery, and fantastic things to do in Dartmoor National Park!
