I’m really sorry you were let down ❤️‍🩹 if your dad is saying he wants a relationship with you he has to prove that to you and if you decide you’d be open to developing one with him remember to set boundaries that allow you to feel secure. If there’s even just a little part of you that wants to, I say be brave and give him the space to put in the work and hopefully through him doing that it will assist you in working through and healing the feelings and emotions that his absence created.
