A year or 2 ago the same thing happened to me but it stopped cranking like no sound or anything when i turned the key but all my lights stayed on so i thought it was the starter, nope it was my battery. Had to get it jumped and it worked. Have someone hit your starter with a hanmer or something hard at the same time you turn the key, if that doesnt work try to jump it

Spray brake cleaner intake the intake if it stumbles it’s a fuel issue.

Air, gas, and spark is what an engine needs, I’d check gas and spark with this one (I’m not a mechanic and have minimal knowledge) fuel pumps like to go bad and most spark plugs are only rated for about 90k miles

Have you tried starting it by jumping it if it turns on then shuts off as soon as you disconnect the jumper cables could be a bad alternator

air, gas, spark. check your MAF on your intake. unplug it see if it starts. if it doesn't, take the filter out and spray starting fluid in the intake while someone cranks it. if that doesn't work, check coil packs, plugs, fuses

Small update: just tried to jump it and didn’t turn on. Did basically the same thing. Lights on the car are on and everything else. I’m really thinking it may be the fuel pump or spark plugs. Guess we’re going to give that a try. It’s a 2001 Lexus gs300 for reference. Thanks yall!

Oh okay, this could be the very reason. I had this happen to my friend when he dropped his keys and the chip fell out. If you guys know where he droped it you may be able to find the chip there. At this point I would say you need a locksmith to get a new chip programmed. Its usually a small black plastic thing see picture something similar to these here. Possibly smaller.
