I was adopted at 3 from foster care, so my husband and I became foster parents. But yes trauma runs deep

I love that you can share these things. It’s nice finding out history from your pov since we only knew what we were told. I’m so happy I get to call you cousin.

I had a student years ago who was separated from his bio mom after birth for 30 min before his adoptive mother arrived and that was long enough to leave him with long lasting psychological trauma. The worst case of Reactive Attachment Disorder I’ve ever experienced. Sweetest boy, I hope he’s doing well today!

Look into the book “the body keeps score” as well! It’s how our body holds on to trauma in general. Very fascinating
