@estateplanlawyer: Replying to @Crypto-Queen👽 when somebody creates a trust, one of the benefits of it is that it is a private document. That does, however, mean that it needs to be kept and secured by the trust maker. It’s always good for important parts of your plan to have copies made of them and given them to the important people involved with your plan, sometimes the lawyer keeps a copy. But it is not filed with any government agency. #EstatePlanning #LivingTrust #FillThatBucket #Pevney #financialfreedom
We moved out of the country, (for as long as the current administration is in place,…who knows how long that might be.) If we keep the “original” at our US home, but we’re living abroad, can we or should we create an equally valid secondary copy of the trust to keep at our new residence abroad?

If you have a reverse mortgage they want a copy of your Trust! My mom has a reverse mortgage, she never gave them one. When she passed ai had to give them a copy.

Would an unrecorded deed of gift (for property) be void if a new deed of gift was made and recorded?

If I only have a will and my Executor doesn't file with Probate, would Probate assume I had a trust?
