Problem is the prosecutors drop all the charges from the arrest. Guaranteed she was charged with petty theft only. The rest is dropped to save money with a trial. She’ll pay her $100 bail then $250 petty theft fine and be done with it. The $1000 in stolen goods risk is worth the $350 she’ll pay out if she gets caught, which only 1 in 10 are caught.
