@traveltomtom: Worth it or not? $1,800 USD. You decide… Here is my flight review of the so-called 'Cloud 9' business class from Ethiopian Airlines. It was a direct flight from Brussels to Addis Ababa and the flight time was about 7.5 hours. The staff was super friendly. All the ladies were constantly smiling and welcoming you with warm Ethiopian hospitality. I think the food experience was pretty nice as well and I have nothing to complain about that. The seat was comfy. It was kind of spacious because I am almost 2 meter and I could completely fit in. Where in some other airlines, I am not able to stretch my whole body on the flatbed. however, when you get a seed, make sure you get an uneven seed next to each other because they have way more privacy than a these seats on the aisles. On Ethiopian airlines they do not have any mattress service like they have for example at Qatar Airways, Emirates and Turkish Airlines, where the air hostess comes and make up your bed before you’re going to sleep. All in all, I would say I had a really nice flight experience with Ethiopian airline in business class. The major disappointing thing was the Wi-Fi connection. It was absolutely terrible. It literally barely worked during the whole flight. I could not even send a WhatsApp properly. Comparing this to other airlines, I think Ethiopian airlines is really staying behind on the Wi-Fi situation and connection in the sky. #flight #review #ethiopianairlines
