The ‘support’ is only are strong as those tiny cross beams. There should have been one inside of the two pieces of plywood to hold them up. Everntually this will collapse inwards.

That’s interesting. We always put down a sheet of 5/8 plywood before the quartz. To give it more strength. Have you ever had any trouble with it cracking in time?
