@kisatsutai: Every morning, we’re given 86,400 seconds. Most of them pass quietly—eating breakfast, walking to work, talking to a friend, breathing without even noticing. And yet, one bad moment, one harsh word, one small disappointment, can feel so loud that it drowns out the rest. If someone stole sixty dollars from you, you wouldn’t throw away the other eighty-six thousand. You’d keep living with what you have. But when sixty seconds of anger or sadness touches us, we often hand over the whole day. We replay it, we feed it, we let it spread. The truth is, no minute—good or bad—deserves that much power. A day is too big to be ruined by one small piece of it. Time doesn’t stop for hurt, and life keeps offering us another second, and another, and another. The choice is always there: to lose ourselves in what’s gone, or to protect what’s still ours. Most of life’s peace comes from remembering that the weight of one moment is never greater than the gift of the rest.
