It was found that Alzheimer's may start earlier than we thought. #Alzheimers #womenshealth #brainhealth #dementia #research #menopause #healthylifestyle #herbrainmatters
That is very interesting! I have Alzheimer disease throughout my family for at least 3 generations. All women…no men

Id love to see a woman’s use of the brain and alzheimers in a patriarchal society. I think it kills us

So my question is, now that my Generation which is Gen X, are no longer afraid to take HRT, are we potentially warding Alz off? Can that help prevent it, along with healthy lifestyle choices, strength training, good sleep etc?

The Alzheimer in my family comes from my granfather. He had 7 kids. 6 women and 1 man. So, my mother and 2 sistema had it. But also my only male uncle… so I don’t know about this female prevalence.

My grandmother and mother both. None of my mother’s three brothers. My (joke) theory is because memory in our brains is limited, just like a memory card. We’ve had to remember everything for everyone for so long that we’ve overwritten the “card” so often that it doesn’t work anymore.

I've heard that people get it at around 40yrs old and if we could identify it when it happens we'd have a better chance of preventing it

No history in my family but my sister passed late 20's from stomach cancer. We have zero history from before & we are now testing like crazy but not even one has come out with a sign.
Things like these annoy me cause they just traumatized me & make me feel helpless. My friends mom also got alzheimers, no history. Seeing her traumatized me too.

Women need to work hard at not working hard. Our bodies are factories, constantly physically stressed. We must go out of our way to reduce our mental load. Too much stress attracts sickness. It is also the reason why women are at greater risk for auto-immune disease.
