So I have most of my furniture in a natural wood finish, but I recently bought the Mid-Century 7-Drawer Dresser (72") from West Elm in the acorn color. It's really beautiful, but it's much darker and more orange than I expected. I already have natural wood nightstands, but they don't match the dresser, which is making me question the overall look. Now I'm debating whether I should return the dresser because I don't want to introduce that acorn tone in other pieces or get a nightstand in that color. Any advice? I really need help lol😭

I want warmth and coziness but I live in the far north and get severe SAD and need brightness and as much daylight as possible. Trying to balance those creates an interesting challenge. I haven’t been able to venture far from white walls yet.
