Today I started taking phentermine. After talking to the dietitian she took me off the orlistat that my regular doctor put me on. So basically what’s going on is my body is so confused it doesn’t know what it wants to do. We’re still working on my iron levels being so low. I get to go back in for more bloodwork to see how my levels are doing. She was suprised to see how “healthy” I really am at my current weight. Only down fall right now is my low iron which apparently can cause weight gain or at least hinder my body from losing weight. I get extremely exhausted and winded. Not normal for me I used to be able to walk three miles no problem. Now I can barely do the stairs. The hope is that the medicine will help restart my nonexistent metabolism. I know all the things to do to lose the weight it’s just a way to get my body to cooperate. I appreciate those of you that are here along for the ride of me getting back to be healthier and I hope this encourages some of you to take your health seriously too. Love you! Life with Vera
