@food_of_ct: It’s hard to believe, but there’s only a few summer weekends left! ☀️ If you’re looking to spend a fun day out with the fam, we recommend checking out Fairways in South Windsor. This nostalgic mini golf course has been around for over 50 years, and the courses are more challenging than they appear! The course has a par of 42, but we may have gone at least 20 points over 🫣😂 It’s the fun that counts! Before we golfed, we grabbed some hot dogs at their stand for lunch. They have a convenient “Fairway Special” of two Mucke’s hot dogs and a soft drink, or you can also choose kielbasa dogs or red hots 🌭 After our game, we were ready for something sweet! They use Gifford’s and Hood ice cream. Our soft serve and chocolate milkshake hit the spot! 🍦 Before we left, Colten took a few swings at the batting cages to relive his Little League days! It’s $2 per 15 balls ⚾️ We never knew about this little gem, but we’re so glad we found Fairways! It was super laid back and reasonably priced.
