I’ve gone to brown girl “creator events” in nyc and there’s so much side eyeing going on or ppl posting about how they want to make it an inclusive environment but then cap the event if you don’t have a certain # of followers as an example. I swear it’s the non brown folks supporting you the most smh

Definitely agree it’s the influencer space - no matter which country it is. Even when they do connect, it’s not a genuine connection (not all the time) it’s usually because ‘oh I’m connected with so and so now’ .. the genuine space is blurring out which is sad
