I could NEVER live in a neighborhood with an HOA. I’ll stick to the sticks instead 😁. Stories like these make me want to throat-punch the HOA folks for people but I value my license 😅

The HOA I had in Wylie Texas kept sending me notices because they would come out and measure my grass on Tuesdays but I got my lawn mowed every week on Wednesdays. I kept responding but they ended up sending me a fine. I had to call them and blow up that I literally had a lawn care service come out every single week and mow, but they were measuring the day before. It was insane. I had to give them receipts before they finally came out the next day to verify that my lawn was being cut every week.

It’s also hard to cut when it’s wet. They can’t wait? Dang! My HOA is just as annoying but luckily the HOA is responsible for our front yards.

This is exactly why we bought a house without an HOA. Unfortunately, the city just takes its place when we first moved into the house. We had the old stove out on the front porch for a couple of days and the city put a notice on our door that we had to remove it immediately. Martin’s been staying on top of the grass because of that.

What! That’s not even high. It’s healthier for it to grow a little before you cut it. That’s why its so lush. It looks good. Soft and cool like grass is suppose to be.

Girl it’s a headache! I got a violation for not putting the trash can back the SAME day trash was picked up and it needs to be brought down to the back of my house down at the basement so it won’t be seen from the street 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
