Same here; this customer complained that everyone in her party hated our food and she had to buy more food as no one ate the food. She asked for a refund; I say “ of course” but bring the food since “ no one ate it” she never responded and I never heard from her again.

I manage a restaurant and my god they are relentless. As soon as you ask a scammer for any form of proof, not a true customer with legitimate complaint, they get so defensive and that’s when I know I’m dealing with a scammer. One scammer actually was going from a notebook she keeps track with on what and who she scams. Keep working hard and absolutely keep being the business owner you are. You have my respect and I’m sure everyone else that felt, not heard every word you said.

I would make a policy and even post it in front of store no receipt no refund and post store is under surveillance. This will stop all the nonsense people trying to scam mom and pop stores. Your business your rules.
