My pain doc is offering it WITHOUT the blocking portion. It’s a patch and it sounds helpful. Not the strips in her mouth. I’m in horrific pain and the patch would be round the clock and then oxy for breakthrough pain - would this be a bad idea? It would be for pain, not OUD. I don’t have dx OUD. I asked for some type of round the clock pain meds but the contins don’t work for me with my stomach motility issues. Any thoughts on suboxin without the additive to block other meds?

I got TEA, OMG!. Our jails are now pushing Suboxone. The Dr. Group that handles my local jail has signed up for being Tylenol Only to get the grant money you always talk about. Fine, they weren't handing out opiates prior today so no big deal. Take the money and run, right? Nope they are pushing Suboxone on anyone who comes in and admits OUD. They are handing out highly addictive opiates in jails now. If the physician group that's handling the jail is accepting grant money it's hooking people in the jail on suboxone. Let that sink in, marinate for awhile. I talked to someone who just recently went in for a petty offense. He wanted to sleep thru the temporary detainment so what did he do? He claimed OUD to get the subs. 🤔

My ex was a recovering addict- he used to buy Dr Vick’s nasal spray and eat the cotton inside to get high. It’s so frustrating that chronic pain patients get lumped into the same category and getting these crappy medications.

I was in the hospital with a serious lumbar surgery complication. The “pain management “ doctor wanted to put me on Suboxone for acute pain. I told him what it was used for & the lawsuits about people losing their teeth. He actually laughed at me. I didn’t take it but this clown documented in ALL CAPS in my file that Suboxone doesn’t cause tooth decay.

I’m in the hospital and I asked for a pain reliever and I was told I couldn’t get an opiate however I was offered methadone or Suboxone only. Crazy. 😂

Why did they PUSH Suboxone on my 17yo CAT??! She might die now from adverse reaction to it, and it’s cost me +$1k in emergency vet care over the last 4days!! 😡😡😡 At least she won’t become an ADDICT! 🤨😡

yes a guy that was in aa drove drunk killed someone .. went to jail and they put him on suboxone .. he was never using it before .. crazy
