Let's say that they "didn't make enough research" abt ibliss but the "little girl made of clay" thing is literally tied to Islamic beliefs (Christians usually say dust instead of clay), so that already says a lot about where the show is pulling from. And it's actually dangerous to romanticize a relationship with Iblis and portray him as empathetic or that he even might change for a human girl n become kind it makes people forget what he actually represents.

Tbh it’s kinda like how Lucifer is used in Western shows both are basically the devil archetype who tempts humans. But I get why Muslims feel it’s heavier with the name Iblis, since it’s still taken very seriously in the faith. Maybe creators should be mindful, but also people need to remember fiction = symbolism too.
