@renee.rankin: Please keep our Lucky and our family in your prayers. Many know Lucky hasn't been feeling good for almost 2 weeks. I was donated money yesterday to get her to the vet this morning. I dropped her off and went to work. Patiently waiting for a call to see what was going on. I got the call and went out to the hallway and just sat down and cried while on the phone. She weighed 12 pounds just about a month ago and today she weighed in at 5.7 pounds. She is severely anemic as her numbers are suppose to be 30 to 40 and hers are a 12. She is either not making red blood cells or she is and destroying them they said. They have a small budget to work with so they are trying to get more answers. They did say it sounds as tho she has feminine Leukemia and said she is very very sick. Lucky is strictly an inside cat. They did say that this can just happen and they have no way to tell how or why. If this is what she has there really isn't much we can do and that means having to put her down. I am so tore up about this and all I have done is cry. I cried all morning at work and wasn't able to function. My work employees all understand as they all have pets and told me to go home as they comforted me. Thank you all for checking in and trying to help as much as possible.
