GLUTES x GROWING thru GRIEF: WEEK 5 ”Not tears this time — only sweat and heavy weights.” They say God won’t give you more than you can bear; and I’m learning that doesn’t mean the load won’t break you down sometimes. It means He’ll help you carry it, step by step. This week, I didn’t cry in the gym. I sweated. I lifted. I let the built-up fumes of sorrow push out through every rep. I still cry. I haven’t mastered the grief or sorrow. I’m not good at giving myself grace, but I’m learning. Learning to trust God even when I don’t understand. Learning to listen to my angels, and live by the love, wisdom, and lessons they left with me. I started at 104 lbs — physically weak, emotionally drained, and spiritually stripped. But now, I’m seeing progress. My body is getting stronger, and so is my spirit. I’m lifting heavy in every sense of the word. Satan doesn’t have the final say — God does. And even though this journey hurts, I’m growing through it. I’m not just building glutes, I’m building resilience, healing, and faith. I’m looking forward now, to what God has in store for me, to the beauty of this new reality. One where my angels are 10 toes behind me, every step of the way. Join me next week.
