Since it was posted, the video amassed more than 80 million views and 10.3 million likes. In follow-up videos, Waterboer discusses sexual abuse in her community and the importance of kids being “aggressive about their safety.”

I personally think this is a good thing. Having a daughter and 3 sons myself at this age they can be manipulated in to thinking it’s ok. This song emphasises to tell parents and care givers if somebody crosses a line. She’s doing the song in a sense of making younger children understand boundaries. Obviously when they’re older and are taught consent they will have the knowledge on consent.

Great! Kids need to be taught that it is not OK to be touched in those areas. Teaching this helps a child know its not ok when an adult tries something. I personally think it helps the child stand against abuse with confidence.
