@depomarket: Our team makes a full, fair wage, period. I understand why people ask us this so much, it’s a pretty complicated topic. All of our employees receive disability benefits and because of this they are unable to work over a certain amount of hours or can’t make over a certain amount of money or they will lose benefits. It’s a really frustrating thing, because all of our staff need support to work, which is provided through their benefits and if they lose that because they’re making too much then they can’t work at all. It’s a flawed system. I also work with their families to make sure we aren’t jeopardizing any of their benefits, that’s why we don’t have anyone on full-time. #disabilityinclusion #autism #downsyndrome #disability #specialneeds
