This free, family-friendly event is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of Alabama’s military veterans and active-duty personnel. Military Appreciation Day will feature: • Food and refreshments • Bounce Houses • Live entertainment and speakers • Resource booths • Vendors “This event is our way of saying thank you to the brave men and women who have served our country,” said DITJ Foundation President, combat veteran, and social media influencer, Scrappy, also known as “DudeintheJeep”. We’re committed to building a community of support and gratitude around those who’ve given so much.” Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend and connect with local organizations offering services in housing, health care, education, and employment.
