@drchrislee: Struggle with scrolling? Read this. If you’re one of the chosen ones with spicy meatloaf syndrome leading to the inability to focus let’s try some new strategy. I think there is a zone of and a pocket of stimulation that we need to find everyday that allows us to be inspired and take action. This means discovering your stress strategies and regulation coping mechanisms. Once you see the pattern you can start asking if it’s moving you towards a more enlightened levitating lifestyle. Most people I think are using scrolling as a stimulant. It’s an unhealthy habit but it’s giving enough stimulus to drown out the noise to hear the music again. Then, when the scrolling stops the voices come back. So we find some interesting information about ourselves here. 1. Cognitive stimulus turns down the noise and turns up the signal so focus is more easily achieved. Perhaps instead of scrolling try this. Put on a documentary in the background with headphones once you’ve identified the thing you need to focus on. Next, work on how long you can focus for. Try stretching in 10 minutes to start and train to go to 30. Brain rules still apply here even if you’re neurospicy. Hyper fixation will still burn you out in the long run. So train the fixation. Im going live right now to talk more on this. #SelfCare #stressmanagement #anxietyrelief #depressionrelief #highperformancehabits
Ok adhd here. I cannot read the captions. It makes my skin crawl, I don’t know why. Is it possible that you give strategies in a video. I actually want to send it to my daughter who of course will not read the captions.

The adhd self diagnosis is frustrating for me, I feel like for a lot of people it's not adhd, it's a self regulation problem. (as someone diagnosed in 5th grade and struggled with it my whole life.)

Love the flomodoro google extension for training my brain to focus longer! It tells me how much of a break I get based on the length of my focus.
