my home was built in 1940's it's solid ...the foundation and all , I just updated the plumbing , the electricity , the heating & air unit & roof...well worth it...when these contractors or companies see it they try to get me to sell all the time & i have 3 acres in the back as well! these new homes are weak!!!

I would never ever buy a new house they are built like a dollhouse. I have an old house built in the 60s all brick..walls solid,you can't punch a hole in the walls from the inside.
