Here is the point. Does he go up to men who don’t wear gear and throw cups at them when they say to each their own. It’s her choice to wear it or not. There is no right or wrong on the gear conversation because the only person she hurts by not wearing the gear is herself. He however didn’t like that she wouldn’t listen to him and follow HIS direction and then he became the danger. That’s the issue here. He wanted her to submit to his knowing and when she didn’t he became violent. The danger is him not her not wearing gear.
