Absolutely. Do you think everyday people would want to make their companies product cheaper to make and more expensive to buy? Or for construction workers to build houses that their suits sell off to corporations at prices they themselves can’t afford? The problem has always been the stock holders, wanting more and more profit every quarter. Prioritizing profit over the actual product. Forgetting that the whole point of building a company is not to make money, it’s to bring something into the world. You stifle innovation when you base everything on profit. What majority share holder of a pharmaceutical company, in his right, vile, little mind would approve a new found cure for diabetes when he could just continue to profit off of insulin? The dragons at the top of society have bought this country and are holding it for ransom. What use is all this innovation, all this technology if it doesn’t bring abundance for all? Isn’t that the whole point of us coming together in communities? So that collectively we can ensure our needs are met? I mean come on, this is the richest country to ever exist. In the greatest technological age in recorded history. There is enough to go around. If we would stop trying to be the global police force we could do it in a year.
