Funny, my stepmom got laid off, she’s divorced from my dad, and she qualified for $0 in food stamps. She had no income, had heath insurance, rent, car payment, etc and qualified for nothing so it’s bullshit!

the *only* time we received "a lot" was when it had taken almost 3mos for the app to be approved and they backdated it so we got 2mos at once. I do think if you have proven food allergies, you should get a bit more just bc those foods can be obnoxiously expensive(like an 8oz bag of my son's cheese is the same price as a giant bag of normal cheese).
