Can we put a cap on the weekly bart fare? New york caps the subway at $34 over a 7 day period. Not to mention each ride is $2.90. No reason for bart to be so expensive and not have a cap

Not everybody has a credit card, or a debit card, or even a smart phone. So, going cashless and eventually getting rid of the machines that dispense clipper cards is a really bad move. They'll be keeping people with money, but without bank accounts from riding the trains. This really feels like a way to just keep homeless people from riding the trains, but it really just keeps people that are paid in cash from riding the trains.
