read the book, take notes and nclex practice questions so when you know the information you’ll also know how to apply it. with test questions always pick the least invasive intervention and also follow the nursing process “adpie” so if the question asking for something with assessment pick the answer that gotta do with assessing

You have to be organized. For example, when studying COPD, DM, Strokes, etc., group the causes, body systems it affects, labs, medications, treatment (labs), symptoms, and what you will teach your patients for disease management. Good Luck, future nurses.
