Honestly, and this is just me but because i let her free roam my room with lots of chew toys like those cardboard cat scratchers, and gave her a little foraging box, she doesn't mess up my wooden floors at all!

a lot of people use those bubble bath mats that are super cheap at the dollar store for guinea pigs but I'd even look into a small roll of indoor outdoor carpet maybe.
