My son was bullied so badly he tried to leave earth. Document everything ! Even after a verbal convo. Give schools 1 chance to rectify it. File a police report- even if they can’t do anything, get it documented. Send a copy to the school, principal, vp, deans, super and board of ed. Schools are limited in what they will do, but once you get outside resources they will begin to do something. I still have 2 kids in the district and they know I don’t play.

These schools rely on parents not coming forward about this kind of thing. They will specifically ignore it until someone makes a big mess and threatens the board and the media. I am so so sorry, mama. Sweet boy deserves so so so much better.

how horrific! But as a mom, I love that he was so open with you and that you took the opportunity to immediately talk to the principal. Too many kids have zero home training. And you showed your son exactly how to handle the situation. Devastating you and he have gone through this. But your bond is beautiful. Hope that kid gets schooled tomorrow.
