It’s not just an extra tank with more coolant in it. 😅 pretty important peice for when your coolant heats up and cools down.

you need an overflow tank for the raidator on the truck it allows steam out through the cap when it gets hot

It’s not about keeping cool, it’s about having somewhere for that coolant to go IF it ever does get a little hot. Right now, that little spigot next to you rad cap is just spitting it on the ground since it has no cap

I wonder whats ppl issue with coolant its better if it gets low somehow and it doesnt boil as fast as water. Only take two gallons AT MOST

u should have an expansion tank. if it ever does blow its going on the ground which goes into the storm drains. new builds are only new once. if the thermostat fails coolant is going into the road gutter which does not get treated, just straight to the rivers
