@theadventtruth: Many accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath, but the Bible shows He never did. ✨ The Pharisees charged Him with sin for healing (John 5:16–18), for letting His disciples pluck grain (Matthew 12:1–2), and for showing mercy on the Sabbath (Luke 13:14). But every time, Jesus pointed them back to the true purpose of the Sabbath. He declared, “It is lawful to do well on the sabbath days” (Matthew 12:12). He reminded them that the Sabbath was made for man’s blessing, not man’s burden (Mark 2:27). And He boldly said, “The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28). If Jesus had broken the Sabbath, He would have been a sinner—and could not be our Savior (Hebrews 4:15). Instead, He lived a sinless life. In fact, Jesus testified of Himself: “I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in His love” (John 15:10). That includes the fourth commandment—the Sabbath. 👉 Don’t believe the lie—Jesus didn’t abolish the Sabbath.
