We had this with our dog. Vet did surgery and it was his brain matter seeping out from the sutures in his skull. She removed it and it never came back.

Do you have a dog door or something it runs under by ducking the head? It is from hitting the top as they run through. Seen it many times in kennel environments when dogs run through dog doors

Saw this in a puppy one time! Did a 1month recheck after anti inflammatory meds and it’s went down completely! Best of luck to your fur baby🤍

One of our girls came to us with a huge lump on her right there. vet tried antibiotics, and when that didnt work we went the surgery route it ended up being a cyst. hers never grew or anything but we got her at 11 months and had it removed at a year so it was only there for a month. no complications. if thats what it ends up being for your baby it was a super smooth process on our end and never had any more issues after.

You should test for Von Willebrands disease, bump leading to a hematoma, a clotting disorder that Dobermans are predisposed to.
