Or you can just borrow against your Margin account and buy the car outright. You may have a margin interest rate but your securities are still 100% and growing at 20% and you’ve actually paid nothing

6% is my threshold on this. 6% or lower I’m not touching, anything higher I’ll pay down more and more the higher it gets. House I’ve lived in for the last 3 years is at 3% interest, not touching that. Bought a rental at 7.625 earlier in the year I put roughly 40% towards paying it down and 60% in the market.
