As a parent I understand it’s so hard, as a citizen let it all out. These kids were not given justice, investigators need to do better, prosecutors need to do better. The families were shit on. That’s why there is the speculation and conspiracies.

They shouldn’t have ti release anything. We’re not entitled to an answer. Only the victims’ families should get as much information as they feel comfortable with knwoing. The public just wants answers to fulfill our own morbid curiosity. They’re just doing it because they keep getting a crazy amount of request from the public to release because people feel entitled to an answer, and hide it under the guise of getting information for safty reasons, when it’s just from wanting to know from a sick fascination with the case. The perpetrator is in jail, there’s justice. The victims and their families deserve dignity.

None of it should be out there and it should stop!! If it wasn’t for social media none of us would be aware of any of this. I agree with the people saying it’s none of the public’s business. The specific details should be for the family! As a matter of public spending and public interest, only baseline details are required. You do not need to know what the scene looked like, body cam footage, or what the autopsy report said, anything beyond base level should be considered rude to even bring up. We normalise these things too much. I know if I lost a family member this way, I wouldn’t want anything out there and for people to use my loss as a point of commentary. It’s too far. I also wish we’d stop using the word ‘release’, it’s not an album, is there not a better word.

I don't think it should all be released. There are certain things that the public just don't need to be able to see and pick over. But i agree that a curated amount of documents and information should be released and when it is it should be in one go. But it should mostly be about the evidence they have on ther perpetrator and how they caught him, not stuff to do with the victims
