@officialkittenlady: Part 3 of my video response. This is what I love to see: people feeling personally empowered to save lives! If you’re ready to help, Kitten Lady resources are here to teach you. Ways to help: 1) Sterilize every cat you can. Your cat. The shop cat down the street. Your weird aunt’s backyard cats. The cats you see darting around the alley. We don’t need more kittens born. 2) Sign up to foster. Foster for an open admission shelter, a private shelter, a rescue group—any and all need your help. Your vet costs are covered and often your supplies are too. Google your city name + “animal shelter” or “kitten foster.” Contact them & save a life. 3) Become a member of Orphan Kitten Club, a nonprofit that is changing the tide for shelter kittens. This charity is dedicated to funding kitten care in shelters across America: overnight programs, foster programs, kitten-focused shelter staff, lifesaving supplies. As a member you are part of the movement to change what happens to kittens in shelters—and you even get cute kitten postcards in the mail to hang on your fridge and remind you that you are making a difference.
