I'm a member of the paper peoples and I'm exhausted with the "supremacists" saying it wasn't bad.. no it wasn't bad, it was immoral, unethical and a hideous atrocity against humanity. an utterly inhumane practice, that still grips the prison industrial complex.

Ironically, I believe that when Trump “dog & pony show” ends in 2028, there will be an exhibit in the museum which shows how he tried and failed to “Whitewash” the African American museum.

The U.S. was built on white supremacy and the establishment has always carried that legacy. The language in the 13th Amendment is a prime example.

Yes slavery was horrific. Visiting the Smithsonian Black History Museum is necessary to visit. I've been there twice. I can't say I had the same feeling when I visited the Smithsonian portrait Museum. The Black History museum made me uncomfortable especially the Emmett Till exhibit. However I strongly believe it is important for me as a White person to feel uncomfortable or nothing will change.

It was in practice for over 240 years, has only been 160 since the emancipation proclamation, and even then it took another 100 of those years until we had the civil rights act. But yeah no, no reason to include something that’s taken up 85% of the last 400 years. Seems legit

They never ended slavery they turned it into every race. Creed or color is eligible for slavery in prison also as a civilian of the all divided country we all are slaves to our gvmt just saying no disrespect in anyway don’t approve of any kind of slavery. It’s cruel, degrading, manipulating, and inhumane peace to the world.

If you can’t march, write. You can write a letter to the POTUS With your disapproval of how things are being handled. Be sure to cite your first amendment right to petition the government in your letter. The letters are sorted, read, and catalog. A sampling is read to the president, and a sampling of the letters are archived in the national archives. Someone with a fragile ego would completely fall apart with 1000 letters a day we’re coming in regarding the Epstein files or any other disapproval. It would be very hard to ignore how much discord there is.
