Remove the dip stick and go through the top it’s gonna be tricky but you can also loosen the ac line a bit to move it a bit to the side, without removing the Freon

I think you can loose the bracket of the ac line (with the blue cap) and then move it out of the way just enough so that you have clearance to put the shield in from the top. I've done like that before

take the dipstick out, remove the two or three bolts for the ac hose brackets. have someone grab em and pull towards the front end of the vehicle, and carefully sneak it in
