Nowadays the larger portion of a cosplay creator's audience is non-cosplayers, and a lot of them are so judgy and demanding, not understanding the work that goes into it. Every Kpop Demon Hunters cosplay video I've seen has people commenting how they're not 100% accurate to the animation. They don't get that the hobby is cosPLAY, not character replication.

I just spent two years and over 1,000 hours making an All Might cosplay because I love All Might and wanted to showcase a character that means so much to me. I spent 700 hours hand embroidering panels of him from the manga. I wasn't sure how people were gonna react to my cosplay but you know what? People could see the love and I put into every stitch. Everywhere I walked at the convention people would ooh and ahh and compliment me even if they didnt know mha! If you let your passion drive you and not care about what others think then people will see that in your cosplays and appreciate it ❤️
